Day-by-day itinerary

1. 1

   Day 1 — Shimla

   Arrival, acclimatisation and evening at the Ridge.

2. 2

   Day 2 — Shimla to Sangla

   Drive along the Sutlej into the Baspa Valley.

3. 3

   Day 3 — Chitkul & Kalpa

   The last village on the Indo-Tibet road, then on to Kalpa.

4. 4

   Day 4 — Kalpa to Tabo

   Enter Spiti through Nako and Gue with photo stops.

5. 5

   Day 5 — Tabo to Kaza

   Dhankar Monastery and Pin Valley on the way.

6. 6

   Day 6 — High villages

   Langza, Hikkim, Komic and Key Monastery.

7. 7

   Day 7 — Kaza to Chandratal

   Seasonal drive to the lake with camp stay.

8. 8

   Day 8 — Chandratal to Manali

   Kunzum Pass and Atal Tunnel crossing.

9. 9

   Day 9 — Manali

   Recovery day at a comfortable valley hotel.

10. 10

    Day 10 — Departure

    Transfer onward to Chandigarh or Delhi.
